Questions about some police officers?

I just asked this questions and sorry about my spelling and sentences i dont use periods on my cellphone but my 2 friends left there backpack in the woods so it would not get stolen so an easier way to the woulds is threw the school whiich has a broken front door. when my 2 friends went threw the school to get there bag me and my other 2 buddys decided to stay outside on the sidewalk so we wouldent get introuble. next thing you know 4 police officers pull up and tell me and my friends that didint go in the school to get on the ground and asked us are friends information. one of them started making jokes about putting us in the cop car with old chompa the k9 when hes hungry so i smiled then he told me to wipe that smirk off my face. anyway would i of had to give my friends information or could of just remained silent? now my 2 buddys that cut threw have to go to court am i gonna be involved? or charged with trespassing for just waiting outside?
