If you throw up 1/2 hour after taking dilautid for pain, will it still work? I've been on it bf w/o problems.?

I was taking percosets(with minimal relief) for the past few days then dr switched me. Today im naseaus and having difficulty going to the br. Advice from a medical professional would be greatly appreciated.
