Toddler (20months) hit tooth?

She was running and went face first into a bedpost, and hit her mouth. Once tooth (the one beside the k9) bled a little around the gums, she won't let us touch it though. Perhaps trying a different approach and 1) Nicely explain why the door needs to stay open and ask if she has any suggestions to get the cat. 2) When you are angry ask her if you can have a few minutes alone to calm down. As hard as it is, you must do this calmly and respectfully. After you have calmed down, talk about the problem with her. She will respect that your are maturing if you act like a young man instead of a yelling, screaming toddler. Is it normal for a parent to tell one child to not end up like their older sibling? I mean I can understand if the sibling is obviously a bad influence, but what if the sibling is well behaved, A or B student, and the only flaw noticeable is some difficulty in getting into a really good university (I won't say which one, but it's like the second or third best university in our state apparently). My mom told me not to be like my older sister, and was completely serious about it. It wasn't the empty words of annoyance like my parents sometimes have. Should i put my dog to sleep?

Ever since getting hit on the head by a car he has has frequent seizures usually 1 or more a day. He dosn't have the hop in his step as he used to and he is even beging to loose his teeth from crashing into things and biting wood from the pain. I have a Mac Powerbook G4, it's running in a 4.1 or 4.0, and I have been having a lot of technical difficulties. Awhile back, I downloaded a program, which I think took up too much space, and, well, I had already killed the battery, so when my cat bumped into the charger (It's very fickle, I have to have it on one of those things that lay flat and have all the holes in it, the name slipped my mind) and it shut my computer off while the program was being downloaded. I was pissed, and when I turned my computer back on, my dock was gone and none of my programs would open. After a week or so, I could open a few programs, and found another way to delete things. I deleted the program and a few other things I didn't need, but my dock is still gone!! I don't have a lot of things on my computer, and only have one other account, which has nothing. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I can't open up the "About this Mac" option under the apple, so if you need any other information, I might not be able to supply it. Help!!!

I'm 22, recently decided to buckle down with college and will have my AA in a month or so. I've wanted to be a pilot since I was 6 and learned that my grandfather was a mechanic and worked on p-51 mustangs. However like most dreams we have as children that seems to be a ridiculous idea as you grow older. This one has kind of always stuck with me in some way and I'm starting to think about it a lot recently. I understand that only a VERY select few become fighter pilots, while other end up flying cargo or fuel. I've heard everything there is to hear about the difficulty and slim chances of becoming a pilot. I didn't come hear to hear more about that. I would love to fly for the USAF or Navy, however hard it is to land on a carrier lol. My only question is, am I too old to go down that road? I've heard about some "high-school to flight-school" program which may have been my best bet, but my head was elsewhere when I was in high-school. Any and all answers are appreciated, thank you.

About a week ago my uncle lost his home and my aunt his wife moved into my cousins house. my uncle has been working as a tow truck driver to try and support his family. but as the few days he has been here have passed it is now very clear why he lost his job and his home. I am a counsellor with 3 young kids. I work part time so I can be home for the kids. I have a lot of student loans. My office building is being torn down and I have to find a new place to work. I have been in my current office for 5 years. It is run-down but rent is cheap ($900 per month). I have to choose between a more run-down building for $900 per month or working in a mall medical office ($1300 to $1500 per month). I have scoured the city for available options and there is only a 0.5% vacancy rate, so there is not much available. I have to be fairly central as many clients come on the bus. When trying to save them as movie i had the difficulty saying the file can't save as its telling to import the picture and video file as it is. I couldn't understand why it is keep on telling that. While splitting the movie i saved in the same name and import the same name to. the pictures i renamed it and imported to. in a movie it accept both the picture as well as the video to right or is there is any constraint that both the video's and pictrure's cant save in one single file. I just asked this questions and sorry about my spelling and sentences i dont use periods on my cellphone but my 2 friends left there backpack in the woods so it would not get stolen so an easier way to the woulds is threw the school whiich has a broken front door. when my 2 friends went threw the school to get there bag me and my other 2 buddys decided to stay outside on the sidewalk so we wouldent get introuble. next thing you know 4 police officers pull up and tell me and my friends that didint go in the school to get on the ground and asked us are friends information. one of them started making jokes about putting us in the cop car with old chompa the k9 when hes hungry so i smiled then he told me to wipe that smirk off my face. anyway would i of had to give my friends information or could of just remained silent? now my 2 buddys that cut threw have to go to court am i gonna be involved? or charged with trespassing for just waiting outside?

they then continued to call back up and k9 cops to come search my car. as they proceeded to ind nothing i became agitated and began telling them to arrest me or let me go. in the end they let me go having found nothing. i feel extremely violated as far as my basic rights go and i was wondering if there was any type of unlawful detainment law or something protecting us from unreasonable search and seizures to either get me out of this seatbelt infraction or get these officers in some sort of trouble for hassling me.

Legal Resident Status?

I'm having a bit of difficulty here. I am trying to apply for University and I don't really know what to put as my state residency. So, here's the story: in December of 2009, as I was enrolled at Oklahoma State University, permanent resident of Oklahoma since approximately 2003, I left to stay in England for 2 months, and then did a 5 month foreign exchange in Germany. This whole time period isn't really an issue, because I was still enrolled at OSU until roughly July 2010. Then I moved down to Denton, TX temporarily, to live with a friend and earn a little money to try and move back to Germany. I kept my Oklahoma license and tags, but 5 days of the week I lived in Denton, on the weekends I drove back to Oklahoma to stay with my family, mostly my grandparents, whose house I listed for the most part as my permanent residence. So from roughly mid-August 2010 to the beginning of March 2011, I lived 5 days a week in Texas as well as worked there. I filed my taxes, listing my Texas address. Here's the kicker, in March I left for Germany, where I currently reside, but will be moving back in a few days. As far as I'm concerned my permanent residence state-side went back to being listed as my grandparents address in Oklahoma. So now I'm trying to apply for University as a transfer student and I'm not really sure if I'm legally able to say that I'm a resident of Oklahoma, although I will be living and working there shortly. I'm not legally able to say that I'm a permanent resident of Texas, because I didn't live there for a year and none of the bills were in my name. So, the only thing really showing that I lived in Texas are the taxes that I filed, and maybe a library card (with some pricey library fees, so let's not mention that). I know this is all extremely complex, but I would appreciate the help. I can't imagine that I could some how be stuck in a stateless limbo, being neither resident of Oklahoma nor Texas, and I surely can't afford out-of-state tuition in either places. Belgian Malinois dog trainer in Tennessee/Alabama area?

My husband and I are stationed in Germany and we're moving back to the States soon. We bought a dog from a breeder here in January (the pup was 5 months) and we have had him ever since. My husband works with K9 dogs so we've been working with him training but some of it doesn't seem to be working. He is very aggressive towards male dogs if they present more dominance and he is VERY protective of my husband and I. If my husband and I are not around he's playful towards everyone but if we're there and someone comes up to us he acts like he has to defend us from everyone. It gets bad. I love my dog but we have a child on the way and if we can't figure something out we are going to have to get rid of him and I don't want to do that. Im very interested in going into law enforcement. i just graduated so im trying to figure out what major i want to do. i was going into nursing but ive realized thats not really what i want to do forever. So i was wondering, i don't want to be a police officer, but what other jobs are there? I do want to work with officers but i don't want to be a patrol officer. I would want to be the ones that work in like sting operations, or in investigations maybe. Or the ones that have the drug dogs. But i know to have a K9 unit u have to be an officer for 2-3 years.. Getting a horse into a trailer?

I've just bought a horse and will be picking her up on Sunday. The woman who sold her to me (not the owner- the owner couldn't care less about the horse and let her be sold by the barn she's boarded at) said the horse has only been in a trailer once in her life (she's 6) and she anticipates difficulty getting her to load. What are some good non-confrontational ways to get a horse to load? Obviously if it takes all day to get her in, it takes all day, but I'd rather it took less time. I don't have my own trailer so a friend of a friend is helping me out and I'm sure she doesn't want it to take all day either. I don't know what kind of trailer she has. And unfortunately I don't have any time to work on this before Sunday with her. What would you suggest I try? thanks.

How can I replace the wheels on my road bike?

I have a 1970s Coventry Eagle road bike with 27 x 1&1/4 inch wheels. Unfortunately the back wheel is now in pretty bad shape and needs replacing but I am having difficulty finding a wheel that fits. When I had a newer bike I always bought wheels with the reinforced double rims as I am quite heavy and the single ones tend to bend quite quickly. I cannot get hold of any in this size as it is an imperial measurement. I have been told that I can't put a new measurement wheel on because of the caliper brakes. Is there anything that I can do?

i have never heard of antihistamines being injected ... are you sure it was not a steroid injection ??? if it was you paid for the wrong thing, the skin scraping would have been better than a steroid shot ... and funny, i have never had a gun put to my head at the vet to make me buy anything ... and yes, that shampoo will help your dog feel better ... i have a dog with severe allergies and i had to tell vets to not give the cortisone shot any more ... it was a waste of money and if you yourself have ever had a cortisone shot, it hurts like hell to receive ... you would have been better off asking for an antihistamine you can use like benadryl ... i think it is more likely your dog has allergies and that will be a lifelong management, there is no cure ... you need to figure out on your own and it is not easy, what your dog is allergic to ... i doubt it is fleas as you have the dog on prevention and you have not found any fleas ... if you live where there are four distinct seasons and the dog is itchy year round he could be allergic to pollens and things in the environment ... in that case the dog would live on antihistamines and you would have to change antihistamine brands to keep up the efficacy ... with environmental allergies, weekly bathing with a shampoo like you bought is good ... and you can also wipe the dog with a damp cloth on coming in from outside, the coat and the paws ... if the dog is allergic to pollens and comes inside and licks those pollens, his allergy symptoms will be triggered ... you can also go onto allergy websites and see what foods crossreact with the pollens at that time of year and avoid giving your dog those human foods ... if the dog is allergic to food then you will have to do an elimination diet to find out what the dog it allergic too ... an elimination diet is for 3-4 months on one food with limited ingredients and a protein source your dog has never had before ... no other food, treats, human food, anything during this time otherwise it won't be a true elimination diet ... several companies make limited ingredient diets ... natures balance is the one i use because it comes in kibble, canned and treats (harsh to not give your dog a treat for four months :O) ... good luck, allergies suck ...

So I'm totally new to this whole piano thing. I can play some stuff and I am learning as well(not just playing hit pop songs and saying I can play the darn thing) but I hear this whole thing about difficulty levels of music and I am told that Fur Elise is around level 4? Is this true? but the real question would is if any of you know what difficulty Bagatelle by Arthur Whiting is because I feel like I'm way out of my league with this thing as I do not have an actual teacher for guidance.
